Provide a well-ventilated container with a substrate mix of flake soil, leaf litter, and sphagnum moss. Offer plenty of hides with cork bark, bark pieces, and stacked materials. They enjoy both surface activity and having tight spaces to retreat into.

Temperature & Humidity:
Maintain temperatures between 70-75°F. "Sandstone" isopods prefer moderate humidity (60-70%) with a moisture gradient. One side of the enclosure should be moist while the other remains drier to allow them to regulate their environment.

Feeding:
Feed a base of decaying leaf litter and soft hardwoods. Supplement with isopod diet, fish flakes, shrimp pellets, and occasional fresh vegetables or fruit. Extra protein supports healthy breeding.
