Armadillidium nasatum "Peach" Isopod Care Guide

Armadillidium nasatum "Peach" is a gorgeous morph of Armadillidium nasatum, known for its soft peach to pink coloration and distinctive “nose” (nasal plate). This is a hardy, moderately active species perfect for both bioactive setups and display colonies.

Enclosure:
Provide a well-ventilated container with a substrate of flake soil, sphagnum moss, and plenty of leaf litter. Include cork bark, stacked bark, and rockwork for hiding and surface exploration. This species enjoys structured environments with both cover and open space.

Temperature & Humidity:
Maintain temperatures between 70-75°F. "Peach" prefers moderate humidity (60-70%) with a well-defined moisture gradient—one side moist, one side drier. Good airflow is important for this species.

Feeding:
Feed a staple of decaying leaf litter and soft hardwoods. Supplement regularly with isopod diet, fish flakes, shrimp pellets, and fresh vegetables or fruit. Protein supports healthy growth and coloration.

Behavior:
"Peach" isopods are moderately active and become more surface-visible as the colony matures. They breed at a steady pace and make an excellent choice for both bioactive and display-focused enclosures.
